Welcome to our Reception class page

We are very excited to see you all when school opens in September. We are looking forward to seeing this years Reception class in our first three days back and our new Reception class during these days too. From Monday 7th September our new Reception children will be in the Reception classroom all day, each day.

When we return to school we will be learning about some of your favourite stories- Little Red Riding Hood, Jack and the Beanstalk, The Ugly Duckling and Little Red Hen. We have lots of exciting activities planned to help us learn about these stories and our classroom is all ready for your return!

It was lovely see our parents and children new to the school this year, who came to see their new school and classroom.

All children in school will be receiving a postcard from their new class teacher- keep a look out for your postman as they will be arriving soon!

When we return to school in September there will be a lot of prizes available for children who attend school everyday.

-If you attend every day for the first week you will earn a certificate!

-If you attend every day for the first full week (07/09-11/09) you will earn a book!

– If you attend every day for the WHOLE OF SEPTEMBER you will earn a special, secret afternoon treat! If Reception class have the best attendance in the whole school we will get an even longer special afternoon treat so come on Reception- lets make sure we are at school everyday so that we can be the winners!
