The classroom is all ready for your return and we are so excited to start the second half of the Autumn term together.

Conkers

The children in Year 3 have had a fantastic day exploring what life would have been like for those living in the Stone Age period. They completed an orienteering activity where they searched for new facts about the Stone Age, built wooden huts like the Mesolithic people, played music like those in the Stone Age and painted cave designs using feathers and sticks.

Our Class Saint

During our transition sessions in July, Year 3 chose Mother Teresa to be their class Saint. They chose her because she was known for her charitable work, helped the poor and vulnerable and believed that she was sent on a mission to do God’s work and to help others.

She is the patron saint of World Youth Day and the Missionaries of Charity. Her Feast Day is September 5th.

Gospel Values

Our gospel values for this half-term are ‘intentional and prophetic’. Children will be planning and delivering collective worship based around the Gospel Values each week.
