St. Peter's Harvest Festival 2023-2024

Once again we thank our very generous families for their harvest donations this year especially as we know this is going to be a very difficult year for a lot of people in our community. We have listened to Pope Francis and thought about the dignity of the human person. We have worked in solidarity to put the needs of the poor and vulnerable first.

This year you kind donations are supporting St. Joseph’s food bank, our local Parish. Today the parishioners  visited our school and were amazed at the donations they have received. They also commented “We were stunned and amazed, wow, just thank you. We learnt so much from the children’s assembly”

The children from each Year group led the Harvest assembly talking about how Harvest is celebrated in other faiths around the world, we listened to the words of Pope Francis and scripture and discussed how as Catholics we should answer the call.

St. Peter’s Catholic Academy’s Harvest appeal 2022-2023

The children from each Year group led the Harvest assembly talking about how Harvest is celebrated in other faiths around the world, we learnt about how and what Jesus teaches us through the parables, and the children talked about Catholic Social teaching Principles and how we can live them out.
