Welcome to our Reception class page!
In Reception we focus heavily on learning through stories. Our topics loosely follow these books but more importantly we follow the interests of the children in our class. Our class trips are linked to these stories/topics and also the changes in the world around us and seasons.
We regularly update our parent board with upcoming events and dates, and add spare letters for parents to take.
We also have our leaflet holder that has information on events you can take your children to at the library and other venues. It also has general information to support parents and carers. Please take as many as you would like!
As it was Chinese New Year this week, we made our own Chinese stir fry in class. We all tried our meal afterwards and lots of us thought it was delicious.
We had a great time at Ranton Abbey and got to take part in lots of different activities in the forest. Don’t forget to check our our class display with photos of our artwork and hedgehog homes!
In the Ten Town Show, episode 18- Eric Eight and Tia Ten make milkshakes for the banquet. We decided to make our own!
We had so much fun on our Autumn walk. Have a look at our photographs below..
On Tuesday we walked to Morrisons to buy vegetables to make our own soup. Here are some of our photographs.
